Rob Kostecki graduated from IU with a concentration in sports media. When he was 16 years old, he started working for the Chicago Cubs in event operations. He worked up to a part-time team lead in the guest services department and was awarded Ambassador of the Year in 2017 out of 500+ employees. He worked for the Cubs overlapping his time at Indiana through 2021. He began working for IU event services as a ticket taker and eventually secured a full-time position as an assistant general manager. After nine months with IU event services, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where he now works for the MLB team Texas Rangers. (February 2023)
