Cate Charron is a First Amendment reporter for the IndyStar. Previously, she was an economic development and state politics reporter for the Indianapolis Business Journal. Charron was a Pulliam Fellow at the Indianapolis Star and was editor in chief of the Indiana Daily Student while at IU. (March 2026)
