Mia Torres will join the Emerging News Products team at The Washington Post as a designer on April 1. Torres joined The Washington Post in 2018 first as a news design intern and then as a contractor. In her time at The Post, she has designed print pages for daily and weekly sections, illustrated for Book World and worked on digital projects. Torres will focus her time on designing, illustrating and art directing for The Post’s national tablet and phone app. (March 2019)
