Glenna Read is an assistant professor at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. In 2019, she received the Annie Lang Dissertation Award at the International Communication Association conference in Washington, D.C. The award is named after ICA Fellow Media School Distinguished Professor Annie Lang. (June 2019)
