Isabel Dieppa is a Chicago-based freelance journalist. She got her IU degree in theater, but worked for the Indiana Daily Student during her time on campus. She is a contributor to Bust.com and a communications coordinator at the National Immigrant Justice Center. She is one of 21 recipients of the 2018 ProPublica Diversity Scholarship, and will attend a conference sponsored by the National Association of Hispanic Journalists in late July. (June 2018)
