Jason Martin is an associate professor and chair of the journalism program in the College of Communication at DePaul University. He was selected to receive a 2017-18 Wicklander Fellowship to pursue research on professional journalism ethics. His project will examine how changes spurred by the proliferation of social and mobile media have influenced journalists’ ethical practices in holding public officials and other societal powers accountable.
