Haley Bakker-Arkema is launching Whirlaway Marketing, an Indianapolis-based public relations and marketing agency. Before moving to Indianapolis earlier this year, Bakker-Arkema worked as Nike’s global communications manager, based in Portland, Oregon, where she developed and supported the company’s global communications strategy for women’s running, training and lifestyle apparel. She began her career at Golin in Chicago, working as an intern, assistant account executive, account executive and media manager. (November 2018)
