Sharon Bramlett-Solomon was the 2022 recipient of the Lionel C. Barrow Jr. Award for Distinguished Achievement in Diversity Research and Education. The award is presented annually by the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication. Bramlett-Solomon is an associate professor in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State. She has presented and published more than 100 scholarly papers on race, media and society issues. (August 2022)
