Patricia "Patti" Krapesh died Feb. 23, 2018, after a battle with cancer. Krapesh was 65 years old and living in Terre Haute. She worked at the Terre Haute Tribune-Star from 1980 to 1994 in various editing and management roles. Krapesh’s coworkers remember her as an advocate for female journalists in a time where inclusion was not a priority in the journalism industry. She went on to teach journalism at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College for 20 years.
