Judith Buddenbaum received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Religion and Media Interest Group of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication at the 2020 conference. She is a professor emerita in the Department of Journalism and Technical Communication at Colorado State University. (August 2020)
